I am sitting here thinking about how the breathwork session affected me. During the session, I had a period where I was able to just “be”. I was in a peaceful place. I was able to get myself to that place this morning. I am grateful for that. In recent months, I have dropped some of my routines that serve me well. I’ve had trouble focusing and my anxiety level has been high. I feel very relieved that I am making these changes. While I still have situations going on that I find to be stressful, I am getting back to the routines that help me in so many ways. If you are considering working with Sonya Lyn, I say what are you waiting for? I just had my 3rd breathwork session with her (2 in person and 1 online) I am always so surprised of the emotional release I experience with every session. (Usually I’m resistant to doing anything out my comfort zone.) I guess I internalize more than I thought. Also I feel like each time I’ve participated, I have been able to master the breathing more and more making my experience intense and different each time. I always feel SO great after. I have been working with Sonya for 12 weeks now, and I just signed up for another 12! She is very good at gently pushing and asking the questions that lead me to realize and acknowledge the feelings I have buried for so long, in order to heal my heart and previous trauma. I have had more personal growth, mindset shift, awareness, and weight lifted from working with her for these few months, than I have in years of working with a psychotherapist and self-help books/podcasts. Sonya is an amazing practitioner who has done her own spiritual work. I met Sonya at a time when I was just starting my spiritual journey and dealing with a recent failed relationship. I truly enjoyed the MAT session with Sonya. It was peaceful, calm and I felt safe - that was truly important to me.
